Derrick A. Baity graduated from Santa Clara University in 1982 with a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering/computer science. Post graduation, he was privileged to work with prestigious companies within Silicon Valley, including Lockheed Martin and Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC). In 1994, Mr. Baity stepped out of faith and went into business for himself, establishing Systems Services International. Over the last three decades, SSI has grown and been privileged to hold contracts with Vishay Siliconix, Apple, IBM, and dozens of other Bay Area companies. 

 

Beyond being a business owner, Mr. Baity is also a believer in Jesus Christ. Since his youth, he has served as a singer and minister. He has administrated many programs domestically, as well as internationally in Japan, India, and various countries within the South Pacific. He is also the founder and CEO of Family and Ministry Enrichment and Empowerment Network, Inc., a non-profit organization established in 2014, to be a multi-disciplinary organization which addresses important systemic problems of our inner-city communities.

In 1992, Derrick married the love of his life, Bernadette Greene who has lovingly and administratively supported his every endeavors. The couple had two children: Jessica Lauren and Stephen Austin (Alanna Johnson), who both contribute to the growth and expansion of Systems Services International, LLC.
